Donation goal reached: flowering meadow

Together we create a blooming oasis

Many thanks to all donors! Thanks to your great support, we were able to reach our donation goal of €500 and create our first flowering meadow.

The first flowers are already appearing and buzzing with life. Bees, bumblebees and butterflies are already romping around on the colorful flowers. We are extremely happy about these initial successes and are overwhelmed by the positive response to our project.

A perennial flowering meadow takes time. We won’t see the full bloom until the second year. Until then, we have to mow the meadow regularly and remove the clippings. This may seem tedious at first glance, but it is essential to maintaining a species-rich flower meadow. Removing the clippings does not fertilize the soil and creates space for new plants.

We are incredibly grateful for your support. Without you, this project would not have been possible. You have made an important contribution to protecting biodiversity and have also given many insects a home.
